Relaxed...

There is NOTHING better than getting into bed on a Sunday night, on the first evening, at the beginning of a school holiday..... Just fantastic!
Already feeling recuperated & relaxed.

Survived!

First 8 weeks done! No HMI visit, which simply means it will happen next half-term. Most likely during end of November, my birthday week...
This was a

tough

half term for many reasons: monitoring visits; result analysis; new courses; financial cutbacks; and action planning!

Students are really enjoying Vivo Miles, eMoney for them to gain rewards and spend. Very incentive. Thinks it needs pushing across the whole-academy more and this strikes up an old philosophy of mine, "you are only as good as your team."

Will post again later as it's only 8am on Saturday - half-term - and I'm still waking up at 'school-time!'

Half-Term

Half-term is just a few days away. Targets to be set; action plans to be completed.
The only major issue unresolved is when do HMI knock on the door...
With only 2 days notice, it may just be next week or on Friday which means, there goes half-term holidays!
